Team Apprentice

For beginner who want to experience the team event without playing an official board. This is road to becoming stronger players in the future. Trainees join the club team experience but are not entered as official-board players. Their National rating, if existing, remain unchanged. Trainee experience category; not an official-board player. not eligible for official boards. Experience includes observe the official matches, join the team in the waiting rooms, play training games with other trainees, play with senior players when they are available. JCF membership is not required because trainees are not listed as official players on boards 1-5. Trainees under 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Trainees must maintain silence in the tournament hall during matches. The waiting rooms are spacious, and trainees may talk, eat, or play there more freely.

Open category. All players must be active JCF annual members. Official team player. eligible for official boards 1-5. JCF membership and NCS ID required. National ratings will change as per the performance of the player.
